AAS National Conclave
Max in Uniform

Hey everyone,
Thank you for checking out my fundraiser for the Arnold Air Society's (AAS) 2015 National Conclave! I know some of you may have some questions about what exactly is going on and I hope to answer those here! Keep reading or click here to skip to the bottom to see how you can help. Thank you all so much!

What is AAS? CHICON?

Arnold Air Society is a national service organization whose members are cadets training to be officers in the United States Air Force. There are 11 Areas which span the entire U.S., including Puerto Rico. It is comprised of 135 Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. (AFROTC) detachments and over 3,200 cadets. It focuses on leadership, community service, and personal development. You can learn more about AAS and its sister organization, Silver Wings, here.

CHICON, a play on NATCON (National Conclave), is this year's annual conference. Members from all over the country will be flying to Chicago April 3-7 to attend seminars, meet leaders in the Air Force, talk about the society, and network.

Why Am I Going?

This is a great opportunity to grow as a leader and as a person. Not only will I be able to attend workshops on leadership, followership, time management, etc., but I will also be able to meet current and past leaders of the Air Force. I will be able to gain valuable first-hand advice that you can't learn from a textbook. Also, who wouldn't want to go on a trip to Chicago?!

It's not a cheap trip (which is why I'm asking for help!). See below for a general breakdown of the costs:

Total: Approx. $1,000+
